If you are driving from the center of Saguenay, head northwest on Route 170. Continue on Route 170 for approximately 65 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 155. Turn left onto Route 155 South and follow it for about 15 kilometers. Then, take the exit towards Chambord and follow the signs to Val-Jalbert Historical Village, located at 95 Rue Saint-George. The entire drive should take around 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Saguenay area to Roberval. From Roberval, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Chambord. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as the frequency may vary. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours in total. Once in Chambord, you can either walk or take a taxi to Val-Jalbert Historical Village, which is about 8 kilometers from the bus stop.
