Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Saguenay, take Route 170 north. Continue on Route 170 for approximately 80 km until you reach the town of Chambord. Once in Chambord, follow the signs for Val-Jalbert Historical Village. The village is located at 95 Rue Saint-George, Chambord, QC G0W 1G0. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Val-Jalbert Historical Village by public transportation, take a bus from Saguenay to Chambord. You can catch the bus at the main bus terminal in Saguenay. The bus service may vary, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Chambord, it’s a short taxi ride (approximately 5 km) to the village.   Walking to Val-Jalbert from Saguenay is not practical due to the distance (approximately 80 km). However, if you are already in Chambord, you can walk to the village from the town center, which is about 1.5 km away. Follow the local roads to reach 95 Rue Saint-George, where the village is located.
