Private Toronto Food Tour: St. Lawrence & Distillery District
Would Do Again
I’m glad I did it. This was the first food tour I’ve ever been on. Overall, it was good. I enjoyed talking with some of the people in the group since I traveled by myself. However, I am more extroverted and was the one to initiate these conversations. So if you are a shy, introverted traveler, you might have a little bit more difficulty. The food they chose was great, and I’m glad to have tried it. On my own, I wouldn’t have pitched the same things, which made me glad I did the tour. Nothing felt rushed, and I don’t feel overly full; I made sure not to eat all the desserts and to save them for later. I would, in fact, recommend bringing a Tupperware container with you to do the same. I don’t think the guide was in top form that day and had a different sense of humor than I do, but I relayed my experience and issues with the company, and they responded seriously and addressed them. This makes me trust them enough to give them another try, which is why I bumped their rating from 3 to 4 stars. I would recommend them.
