    If you are starting from downtown Toronto, head to the nearest subway station, such as St. Patrick Station. Take Line 1 (Yonge-University) towards Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. Get off at the next stop, which is Osgoode Station. From Osgoode Station, transfer to Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) at St. George Station. Take Line 2 towards Kipling and get off at the next stop, which is Spadina Station. Exit the station and walk west along Bloor Street until you reach the intersection with Queen's Park Crescent West. Turn right onto Queen's Park Crescent and walk north until you see the entrance to Philosopher's Walk on your left.

    If you are already near the University of Toronto, you can easily walk to Philosopher's Walk. Start at the main entrance of the University of Toronto on St. George Street. Walk east towards College Street, then turn left and walk north until you reach Queen's Park Crescent West. Turn right onto Queen's Park Crescent and continue walking until you find the entrance to Philosopher's Walk on your left. The walk is located directly behind the Royal Ontario Museum, so you can also use that as a reference point.

  • Streetcar

    If you are in the vicinity of the waterfront or the Entertainment District, you can take the 501 Queen streetcar. Board the streetcar heading east and get off at the Queen's Park stop. From there, walk north up Queen's Park Crescent West. Philosopher's Walk will be on your left side as you approach the Royal Ontario Museum.
