If you are in downtown Toronto, start by locating the nearest subway station. Take Line 1 (Yonge-University) towards Union Station. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit the subway and head towards the street level. Walk east towards Bay Street and turn left onto Bay Street.

Public Transit - Streetcar
At Bay Street, look for the streetcar stop for the 509 Harbourfront or the 511 Bathurst streetcar. Board the streetcar heading towards the waterfront (Harbourfront). If you take the 509, get off at the 'Queens Quay and Jarvis' stop. If you take the 511, get off at 'Queens Quay and Bathurst'.

From either streetcar stop, walk south towards the waterfront along Queens Quay. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Sugar Beach, which is located just east of the Redpath Sugar Refinery. Look for the sandy area with pink umbrellas along the waterfront.
