Getting there

Public Transit - Bus

If you are starting from the Winnipeg Convention Centre, head to the nearest bus stop on 555 Main St. Take the 11 bus towards 'Westwood' or the 14 bus towards 'Transcona'. Ride for about 5 stops until you reach the 'Portage at Main' stop. From there, walk east on Portage Avenue for about 2 blocks until you reach 201 Portage Ave, which is the location of Prairie View Bear.

Walking

If you are near The Forks, start at the Forks Market and head northwest towards Main Street. Once at Main St., head north until you reach Portage Avenue. Turn left (west) on Portage Ave and walk for about 15 minutes. You will see Prairie View Bear at 201 Portage Ave on your left.

Public Transit - Light Rail

From the University of Winnipeg, head to the nearest bus stop on Portage Ave. Take bus 20 towards 'Hugh John Macdonald' and get off at 'Portage at Main'. Then, walk east along Portage Avenue for about 2 blocks to reach Prairie View Bear at 201 Portage Ave.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bike, start from Assiniboine Park. Head east along the Assiniboine River pathway until you reach the Forks. From Forks, take the river trail towards Main St. and then head north on Main St. until you reach Portage Ave. Turn left on Portage Ave, and Prairie View Bear at 201 Portage Ave will be on your left after a short ride.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing

Simply request a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft from your current location and input the destination as '201 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0B9'. The driver will take you directly to Prairie View Bear.
