From downtown Winnipeg, head to the nearest bus stop. You can catch bus number 8 or 9 from the bus stops located on Main Street. Make sure to check the Winnipeg Transit website for the latest schedules. Take the bus towards St. Boniface. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop at Rue St Joseph and Rue de la Cathedrale. From there, you will walk about 5 minutes east along Rue St Joseph to reach Whittier Park at 836 Rue St Joseph.
Walking
If you are staying in the Saint Boniface area, you can easily walk to Whittier Park. Start from the Forks Market, head east on Main Street, then turn left onto Provencher Boulevard. Follow Provencher Boulevard until you reach Rue St Joseph, then turn right. Whittier Park will be on your left at 836 Rue St Joseph after a short walk.
Biking
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing programs in Winnipeg. From downtown, take the Bishop Grandin Greenway, which leads towards St. Boniface. Once you reach the area near the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, continue on the designated bike paths until you reach Rue St Joseph. Turn left and bike straight to Whittier Park at 836 Rue St Joseph.
