If you are starting from the Winnipeg Art Gallery located at 300 Memorial Blvd, walk to the nearby bus stop at Memorial Blvd & Fort St. Take bus number 11 heading towards the University of Manitoba. After about 10 stops (approximately 20 minutes), get off at the stop named 'Portage Ave at 9th St'. From there, transfer to bus number 16 heading towards the North End. Get off at the stop 'Main St at Broadway'. Walk towards Kennedy St, and continue south for about 5 minutes until you reach Government House at 10 Kennedy St.

If you are staying in the downtown area, you can walk to Government House. Locate the intersection of Portage Avenue and Main Street. From there, head south on Main Street until you reach Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and continue walking until you reach Kennedy Street. Turn right onto Kennedy Street, and after a short walk, you will find Government House at 10 Kennedy St.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services. Start at The Forks, a popular gathering place in Winnipeg. Head north on the Assiniboine Riverwalk.
