    If you are starting from the Winnipeg Convention Centre, head to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Portage Ave and Main St. Take Bus Route 11 towards St. Vital Centre. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the Lombard Ave stop. Walk east along Lombard Ave for about 2 minutes, and you will see the Manitoba Historical Society at 1 Lombard Ave #710a on your left.

    If you are near the Forks, start by walking north along the Assiniboine River Walk. After about 15 minutes, cross over to Main St using the bridge. Continue north on Main St until you reach Lombard Ave. Turn left on Lombard Ave and walk for about 5 minutes. The Manitoba Historical Society will be on your right at 1 Lombard Ave #710a.

    Assuming a future light rail service, if you are at the Winnipeg Airport, take a bus to the nearest light rail station at the corner of Portage Ave. Once the light rail is available, board the train towards Downtown.
