Getting There

Car
From any location in Logone Occidental, head northeast on the main road towards N'Djamena. Continue on this road for approximately 100 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Chetimari. Turn left onto the Chetimari road and continue for another 30 kilometers. Look out for local signs directing you to the Northernmost point of Chad, which is approximately 10 kilometers further along this road. Ensure that your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be unpaved.

Public Transportation
To travel by bus or shared taxi, make your way to the central bus station in Logone Occidental. Look for a bus heading towards N'Djamena and inform the driver you want to get off at Chetimari. The fare should be around 2000 CFA francs, but confirm the price before boarding. After reaching Chetimari, you will need to hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'jakarta') for the remaining 10 kilometers to the Northernmost point of Chad. The ride should cost around 1000 CFA francs.

After reaching Chetimari by bus or taxi, take the dirt path towards the northeast, following local signs.
