Journey Through the Majestic Route Aconcagua

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the city of Los Andes. Head east on Route 60, also known as the Aconcagua Valley Road. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Valle del Aconcagua. The route is well marked and takes you through scenic landscapes. Once you enter the valley, follow the signs directing you towards ROUTE ACONCAGUA. There is no toll on this route, and parking is available at the site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach ROUTE ACONCAGUA by public transport, take a bus from Los Andes to the Aconcagua Valley. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Los Andes. The fare is approximately 2,000 CLP (Chilean Pesos) and the journey takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the valley stop, it's a short walk to the entrance of ROUTE ACONCAGUA, following the signs. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.

• Taxi

  For a more direct option, consider taking a taxi from Los Andes to ROUTE ACONCAGUA. This is a convenient choice if you are traveling in a group. The taxi fare will vary, but you can expect to pay around 15,000 to 20,000 CLP for the trip. Ensure you agree on the fare in advance or confirm that the taxi uses a meter.

• Hiking or Walking

  If you are already in the valley and wish to hike to ROUTE ACONCAGUA, there are several trails leading to the area. Make sure to have a map or use a GPS-enabled device, as trails are not always well marked. It's advisable to start early in the day to ensure you have enough daylight for the hike. Bring sufficient water and snacks, as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity.
