From Pucón, take Route 199 towards Curarrehue. After approximately 20 km, turn right onto Route S-941 towards Palguín Alto. Continue for about 10 km; Salto El León will be signposted. The drive takes around 30 minutes. Parking is available near the entrance. Expect to drive the last 14 km on a gravel road, so drive carefully. Parking is free.

There is no direct public transportation to Salto El León. You can take a bus from Pucón towards Curarrehue and get off at the turnoff to Parque Nacional Villarrica. From there, it is a 14 km walk or hitchhike to Salto El León. Alternatively, hire a taxi or Uber from Pucón, which costs approximately $15,000 - $20,000 CLP.
