    Walking

    If you are staying in the city center, start by heading west on Avenida 21 de Mayo towards the coast. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Plaza Colón, a popular square. From there, continue straight onto Calle General Lagos. Keep walking for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Sangra. Turn left onto Calle Sangra and walk for about 5 minutes. The Museo del Mar de Arica will be on your left at Sangra 315.

    Find a local bus that travels along Avenida 21 de Mayo. You can catch a bus from various stops in the city center. Make sure to ask the driver if they go towards Sangra street. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Calle Sangra. Once you get off, walk down Calle Sangra for about 5 minutes. The museum will be on your left at Sangra 315.
