From the city center of Arica, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Buses de Arica. You can easily reach the terminal by walking or taking a local taxi. Once at the terminal, look for buses heading towards Playa Chinchorro or local transport that goes along the coastal route. The ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the beach, which is usually announced by the bus driver. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the beach, which is a short walk away.
