Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Coyhaique, the capital of Aysén Region. Head north on Route 7 (Carretera Austral) for approximately 60 km (about 1 hour). As you approach Puerto Aysén, take the exit toward the town. Once in Puerto Aysén, follow the main road until you reach Bernardo O'Higgins Street. The Oficina de Tierras y Colonización is located at 553 Bernardo O'Higgins Street, easily identifiable as a historical landmark.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Coyhaique to Puerto Aysén. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. You can find buses at the Coyhaique bus terminal. Upon arrival at the Puerto Aysén bus terminal, exit the terminal and head west on Avenida Chacabuco until you reach Bernardo O'Higgins Street. Turn left on Bernardo O'Higgins and walk about 300 meters to find Oficina de Tierras y Colonización at 553 Bernardo O'Higgins Street.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from either Coyhaique or within Puerto Aysén. From Coyhaique, the taxi ride to Puerto Aysén will cost approximately 40,000 CLP and take about 1 hour. Once in Puerto Aysén, simply provide the address (Bernardo O'Higgins 553) to the driver. This method is convenient if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to navigate public transportation.
