• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Coyhaique, the capital of the Aysén Region. Head north on the Carretera Austral (Route 7) for approximately 220 km. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small towns such as Villa Manihuales and Puerto Rio Tranquilo. Continue driving until you reach Puerto Guadal, located about 265 km from Coyhaique. Bahia Catalina is located at Carr. Austral Sur, km 265. Look for signs indicating Puerto Guadal, and once you reach the town, follow the road to the waterfront where Bahia Catalina is located.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Coyhaique to Puerto Guadal. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary. Once you arrive in Puerto Guadal, you can take a taxi or a local shuttle service to Bahia Catalina, which is approximately a 10-minute drive from the bus terminal.

  If you prefer a more direct route after arriving in Puerto Guadal, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing app if available.
