Car
From Futaleufú town center, head southwest on Ruta 7 (Carretera Austral) for approximately 22 kilometers. Watch for signs indicating Laguna Oscura. The road may have some potholes, so drive carefully. Once you reach the indicated area, there should be a small parking area. From the parking lot, follow the marked trail leading to Laguna Oscura, which is approximately a 15-minute hike.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Futaleufú towards Puerto Puyuhuapi. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Laguna Oscura stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you disembark, there will be a clearly marked trail leading to the lagoon. It will take you around 15 minutes to walk to the lagoon from the bus stop.
