Getting There

• Car

  From the main square in Futaleufú, head southwest on Calle Manuel Rodriguez towards Route 5. After approximately 2 km, turn left onto Route 5 and continue for about 17 km. Look for signs indicating the entrance to Futaleufú National Reserve on your right. The entrance is well-marked and is located at approximately -43.256206 latitude and -71.834106 longitude. Parking is available at the entrance. Note that there may be a small entry fee to access the reserve.

• Public Transportation

  From Futaleufú, locate the bus terminal near the main square. There are local buses that run to various destinations, including the Futaleufú National Reserve. Purchase a ticket for the bus going towards the reserve area. The bus journey takes about 30-45 minutes depending on the stops. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Futaleufú National Reserve. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the entrance where you will find the reserve's facilities. • Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a local taxi from anywhere in Futaleufú. Simply ask the driver to take you to the Futaleufú National Reserve. The drive will take around 20 minutes.
