Walking
From the center of Puerto Natales, Silla del Diablo is accessible by foot, though it's a considerable walk. Head north along the waterfront, following the path that runs parallel to the Ultima Esperanza Sound. Continue past the municipal pier and the Mateo Mina Lagoon. The trail to the summit begins at the base of the mountain. Allow approximately 2-3 hours for the ascent and descent. There are no costs associated with walking to the trailhead or hiking the mountain.

A taxi from downtown Puerto Natales to the base of Silla del Diablo takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Taxis are readily available near the main plaza. Ask the driver to take you to the start of the hiking trail. The approximate cost is CLP 5,000 - CLP 8,000, depending on the time of day and the taxi company.
