Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Pucon, head east on Calle Palguin towards Avenida O'Higgins. Continue straight onto Avenida O'Higgins, passing by local shops and restaurants. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with Ruta 199. Turn left onto Ruta 199. Walk for approximately 3 km until you reach the entrance of Parque Nacional Villarrica. Here, you can pay the entrance fee and follow the marked trails towards Mirador Los Cráteres. The trail is about 2 km and is clearly signposted with directions to the viewpoint.

  • Public Transport

    From Pucon, head to the bus terminal located on Avenida O'Higgins. Look for a bus heading towards Parque Nacional Villarrica; these buses run frequently. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the park entrance, pay the entrance fee and follow the marked trails towards Mirador Los Cráteres. The trail is about 2 km from the entrance, and it is well-marked, leading you to the viewpoint.
