Walking
If you're starting from the city center of Punta Arenas, head south on Avenida Colón towards Avenida España. Once you reach Avenida España, turn right and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Ruta 9. At this point, turn left onto Ruta 9. Continue walking along Ruta 9 for about 2 kilometers. You'll pass residential areas and local shops along the way. Keep an eye out for the sign for Parque María Behety, which will be on your right side as you approach the park entrance.
Public Bus
From the city center, you can take a local bus heading towards the southern neighborhoods. Look for buses marked with destinations such as 'Zona Franca' or 'Cerro de la Cruz'. Board the bus at any of the major bus stops in the city center. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Parque María Behety. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, you will see the park entrance directly in front of you.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city. Start by heading down Avenida Colón, then take a right onto Avenida España. Follow Avenida España until you reach Ruta 9, where you'll turn left. Continue biking for about 2 kilometers. There are bike lanes along the route, making it a safe and enjoyable ride. Look for the sign marking Parque María Behety on your right.
