Walking
If you're starting from the main square, Plaza de Armas, head south on Avenida Pedro Montt. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida Costanera. Turn left onto Avenida Costanera, and follow it along the waterfront. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the Monumento al Sur on your right, located near the scenic viewpoint.

From Plaza de Armas, take Bus Line 1 towards Zona Franca. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Costanera' (the stop will be announced). Walk towards the waterfront, and then continue walking along Avenida Costanera for about 10-15 minutes. The Monumento al Sur will be on your right, near the viewpoint.
