Bus
From Temuco, head to the Terminal de Buses de Temuco, located at Av. Pablo Neruda 650. Look for a bus heading to Victoria, which is a city near Cascada Chufquen. Buses to Victoria run frequently, so check the schedule upon arrival. Once you board the bus, enjoy the approximately 1-hour ride to Victoria. Upon arriving at the Victoria bus terminal, exit the terminal and locate the nearest bus stop for local transportation.
Local Bus/Shared Taxi
Once in Victoria, you can take a local bus or a shared taxi (colectivo) heading towards Perquenco. Inform the driver that you want to get off near Cascada Chufquen. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye out for signs or landmarks indicating you're approaching the waterfall area.
Hiking
After being dropped off near Cascada Chufquen, you may need to walk approximately 1 to 2 kilometers to reach the waterfall itself. Follow the signs and local paths leading to the cascade. The area might have uneven terrain, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a short hike.
