Car
Starting from the Torres del Paine National Park entrance, drive along Route Y-150. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers (around 1 hour) until you reach the junction with Route Y-290. Turn onto Y-290, which leads you deeper into the park and closer to the base of Glaciar Tenerife. After about 15 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the trailhead to Glaciar Tenerife. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area and prepare for a hike.

Public Transportation
From Puerto Natales, take a bus to Torres del Paine National Park. The journey takes around 2 hours. Once you arrive at the park, you can choose to take a shuttle service that operates within the park to the trailhead leading to Glaciar Tenerife. Ensure to confirm the shuttle schedule in advance as they can vary, especially during the off-peak season. The shuttle will drop you off near the trailhead, from which you will need to hike to reach the glacier.

Upon reaching the trailhead after parking your car or arriving via shuttle, you will need to hike approximately 5 kilometers along well-marked trails to reach Glaciar Tenerife. The trail can be moderately challenging, so ensure you have suitable hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks. The hike should take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Be sure to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes along the way.
