Walking
From the central Plaza de la República, head east on Calle General Pedro de Valdivia towards Av. Ignacio Carrera Pinto. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Ramón Picarte. Turn left onto Av. Ramón Picarte and walk for about 1.5 km. You will see Torreón del Barro on your right at Av. Ramón Picarte 1236-1298. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.
Public Bus
From Plaza de la República, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Avenida Valdivia, just outside the Plaza. Take the bus line that heads towards Los Castaños or Callejón Valdivia. Get off at the stop near Av. Ramón Picarte, approximately 5 stops later. From there, walk about 200 meters south towards Torreón del Barro, which will be on your left. The total journey may take around 30-40 minutes, including waiting time.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Start from Plaza de la República and head east on Calle General Pedro de Valdivia. Then turn left onto Av. Ramón Picarte. Continue cycling straight for about 1.5 km until you reach Torreón del Barro at Av. Ramón Picarte 1236-1298. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
