Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Plaza Sotomayor, head west along Avenida Pedro Montt for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Urriola. Turn left onto Calle Urriola and continue walking uphill for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Abtao. Turn right onto Calle Abtao, and you will find Cerro Concepción at Abtao 675 a short distance ahead.

  • Funicular

    From the Plaza Sotomayor, walk to the nearby Ascensor Concepción funicular station located on Calle Concepción. Purchase a ticket and take the funicular uphill. Once you reach the top, exit the station and walk straight ahead along Calle Concepción. When you reach the intersection with Calle Abtao, turn left and continue walking for a few minutes until you arrive at Cerro Concepción at Abtao 675.

  • Public Transport

    From the Terminal de Buses de Valparaíso, take a local bus towards Plaza Sotomayor. Once you arrive at Plaza Sotomayor, walk west along Avenida Pedro Montt for about 10 minutes until you reach Calle Urriola. Turn left onto Calle Urriola and continue uphill for about 5 minutes until you reach Calle Abtao. Turn right onto Calle Abtao, and you will find Cerro Concepción at Abtao 675.
