Walking
If you are in the heart of Cerro Concepción, start by heading towards Calle Papudo, which is a main street in the area. Walk down Calle Papudo until you reach the intersection with Calle Templeman. Turn left onto Calle Templeman. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach number 675, which is the location of Escalera Templeman. You will notice the steps leading up the hillside, which are an iconic feature of this area.
Funicular
For a unique experience, you can take a funicular ride to get closer to Escalera Templeman. Head to the nearby Ascensor Concepción located at Calle Concepción. Ride the funicular up, and once you disembark, walk down to Calle Templeman. Turn left and walk about 3 minutes to reach number 675. Please note that there is a small fee for the funicular, typically around 300-500 CLP (Chilean Pesos).
