Car

From Flying Fish Cove, the main settlement on Christmas Island, Lily Beach is approximately a 15-minute drive. Head east along Gaze Road, then turn onto Lily Beach Road. Follow Lily Beach Road to the end, where you'll find parking near the beach. Car hire is highly recommended on Christmas Island due to the limited public transport. Pre-booking is essential due to limited availability. Keep in mind that Australian road rules apply, including driving on the left-hand side.
Taxi

Taxis are available on Christmas Island, but with limited availability, pre-booking is advisable. Contact Crabby Transport at +61 (0) 439 215 644 to book a taxi. A taxi from Flying Fish Cove to Lily Beach will take around 15 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxi services are available Tuesday to Sunday.
