Walking
From the main area of Flying Fish Cove, head towards the beach. Walk along the coast heading south until you reach the junction with the main road (Gaze Road). Continue walking along Gaze Road, which will lead you past several local shops and residences. Keep an eye out for signage indicating the direction to Christmas Island National Park. After about a 20-minute walk, you will come to a marked entrance to the park on your left. Follow the path into the park.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Flying Fish Cove. Start your journey by cycling down the main road towards Gaze Road. Once you reach the junction, turn onto Gaze Road and continue cycling south. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Look for the entrance to Christmas Island National Park on your left. You can securely park your bicycle at the entrance before entering the park.

For those who enjoy a more rugged approach, start your hike by following the coastal path south from Flying Fish Cove. This scenic route allows you to take in the beautiful ocean views. After about 30 minutes of hiking, you will merge onto Gaze Road. Continue along Gaze Road until you see the entrance to Christmas Island National Park on your left. Be prepared for varying terrain and wear appropriate footwear.
