If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Leticia, Amazon. Head southeast on Avenida Santander toward Carrera 9. Continue on this road for approximately 5 km until you reach the junction with the road to the Colombian border. Take the left onto the road to the border and continue for about 30 km, following the signs toward Briceño, Sopó. Once you reach Briceño, follow the signs to Jaime Duque Park, which will be located in the outskirts of Sopó. Parking is available at the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Leticia to Bogotá. Upon arriving in Bogotá, head to the Terminal de Transportes de Bogotá. From there, you can find a bus heading towards Sopó. Buses to Sopó leave frequently, and the journey takes about 1-2 hours. Once you arrive in Sopó, you can take a local taxi or walk to Jaime Duque Park, which is approximately 5 km from the bus terminal. The taxi fare should be around 10,000 to 15,000 COP.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Leticia to take you directly to Jaime Duque Park. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as the cost can vary. Expect to pay around 150,000 COP for the journey. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the park.
