TransMilenio
To reach La Macarena via TransMilenio, first locate the nearest TransMilenio station. If you are in the center of Bogotá, you can go to the 'Portal de Transmilenio' station. From there, take the 'Calle 26' line towards 'Calle 76'. Get off at the 'Calle 26' station. After exiting, walk towards 'Calle 26' and head south for about 5 blocks until you reach 'Carrera 15'. Turn left onto 'Carrera 15' and continue walking for 3 more blocks until you reach La Macarena, which will be on your right.
Bus
You can also take a regular bus to La Macarena. If you are near the 'Parque de la 93', take the bus that goes towards 'Calle 72'. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach 'Calle 26'. After getting off, walk south for about 5 blocks until you reach 'Carrera 15'. Turn left and walk for 3 blocks to arrive at La Macarena.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of La Macarena, you can simply walk there. From the 'Parque Nacional', head northeast towards 'Calle 26'. Cross the road and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. When you reach 'Carrera 15', turn right and walk for another 5 minutes until you spot La Macarena on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Bogotá. Simply tell the driver 'La Macarena' or show them the address: Santa Fe, Bogotá. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to check that the taxi has a meter and that it is turned on.
Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Bogotá. Use the bike lanes to travel towards the center of the city. Head towards 'Calle 26' and then navigate to 'Carrera 15' by following the bike lanes. It is a nice way to see the city and should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your speed.
