La Merced Church: A Spiritual Oasis in Cali

Getting There

• Bus

  If you are near the city center, head to the nearest bus stop and take one of the buses heading towards San Pedro. Look for buses labeled 'Cali Viejo' or any bus that mentions 'San Pedro' in their route. The fare is usually around 2,000 COP. Once you reach the San Pedro stop, disembark and walk towards Cra. 3. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you see La Merced Church on your left at Cra. 3 #6 - 62.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the central area of Cali, you can easily walk to La Merced Church. Start at Plaza de Cayzedo, head southwest towards Calle 5, and then turn left onto Calle 5. Continue walking until you reach Cra. 3 and turn right. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find La Merced Church at Cra. 3 #6 - 62 on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a nearby rental shop in the city center. Head towards the Rio Cali and follow the path along the river until you reach the intersection with Calle 5. Turn right onto Calle 5 and follow it until you reach Cra. 3. Turn left on Cra. 3 and continue cycling for about 5 minutes until you arrive at La Merced Church located at Cra. 3 #6 - 62.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can easily catch a taxi or use a rideshare app like Beat or Didi. Provide the driver with the address Cra. 3 #6 - 62, San Pedro, Cali. The ride from most central locations should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately 10,000 - 15,000 COP.
