Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Cartagena, head northwest on Avenida San Martin towards Calle 1. Continue on Avenida San Martin, which will turn into Avenida del Arsenal. Follow the signs for Barranquilla/Cartagena de Indias and take the exit towards Avenida Pedro de Heredia. Continue on Avenida Pedro de Heredia until you reach the intersection with Calle 30, then turn right. Follow Calle 30 until you reach the coastline, and you will find Playa los Morros. Parking is available near the beach, but there may be a fee of around 5,000 to 10,000 COP for parking.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Playa los Morros using public transportation, start at any major bus terminal in Cartagena. Look for a bus heading towards La Boquilla or Playa Los Morros. The fare is typically around 2,000 to 4,000 COP. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination. The bus will drop you off near the beach entrance. From there, it's just a short walk to Playa los Morros. Be prepared for a short wait as buses may run on a less frequent schedule during off-peak hours.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can hail a taxi from any part of Cartagena or use ride-sharing apps available in the area. The ride from the city center to Playa los Morros will cost approximately 20,000 to 30,000 COP, depending on traffic. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the beach, making it a convenient option if you prefer not to navigate public transport.
