Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town center of Salento. Drive southeast on Calle Real towards Vía a Cocora. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for 'Valle de Cocora' guiding you along the way. After about 10 minutes of driving, keep an eye out for the entrance to Cocora Valley on your right at Km 11. There is a parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, head to the main square in Salento where you will find the jeep (Willys) station. Look for the shared jeep to 'Cocora Valley' which operates regularly throughout the day. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and the fare is usually around 3,000 COP. The jeeps leave when they are full, so be prepared for a short wait. Once you arrive at the entrance of Cocora Valley, you will be in close proximity to the hiking trails and beautiful scenery.
