From Guatapé, start by driving towards the Autopista Medellín - Bogotá (Route 60). Follow the signs for Medellín. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, take exit 20 for Calle 80 toward Santa Elena. Continue on this road until you reach Santa Elena. Once in Santa Elena, follow the signs that direct you towards Donde Thobas Mirador, which is located at the coordinates (6.240691, -75.513273). Parking is available near the observation deck, but ensure to check for any local parking fees.

To reach Donde Thobas Mirador using public transportation, first take a bus from Guatapé to Medellín. Buses leave frequently from the Guatapé bus terminal, and the journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arriving in Medellín, head to the Terminal del Norte and catch a bus to Santa Elena. Buses to Santa Elena are available several times a day. Once you arrive in Santa Elena, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Donde Thobas Mirador, which is about a 15-minute ride.
