Follow the signs for San Francisco, which will take you onto the Vía San Francisco road. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you see signs for Río Melcocho, Puente Amarillo. There may be minor unpaved roads leading to the area, so be cautious and ensure your vehicle is suitable for such terrain. There is no entry fee to access the river.
