From the center of Ibagué, head to the Terminal de Transportes Ibagué, which is located at Calle 60 # 10-09. You can walk there or take a taxi if you prefer. Once at the terminal, look for a bus that is headed towards San Luis or Payande. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Payande. Once you arrive in Payande, follow the main road towards the Cascadas Payandé, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ibagué. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Cascadas Payandé in San Luis'. The ride will take around 25-35 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a price beforehand if the taxi does not have a meter.

Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from local shops in Ibagué. Start from the Plaza de Bolívar and head towards Calle 60. Follow the road until you reach the bridge over the Combeima River. Continue along the road towards San Luis. The ride will take about 1-1.5 hours, and once you reach Payande, follow the signs to Cascadas Payandé.

For the adventurous, you can walk to Payande from Ibagué. Start at Plaza de Bolívar and take Calle 10 west until you reach the main road (Calle 60). Continue walking along the main road towards San Luis. This option is quite long, approximately 3-4 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
