If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Leticia. Head southwest on Avenida de la Paz towards Calle 10. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 11, then turn left. Follow Calle 11 until you reach the intersection with Avenida José María Córdoba. Turn right onto Avenida José María Córdoba and continue for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs towards Comunidad El, Calderon. As you approach the community, you will see signs for Monasterio Iew. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Leticia, you can catch a local bus that heads towards Calderon. Look for buses with 'Calderon' or 'Comunidad El' displayed on the front. The bus station is located near the main plaza in Leticia. The fare is usually around 2,000 COP (Colombian pesos). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Comunidad El, ask the driver to drop you off near Monasterio Iew, or follow the signs to walk the short distance to the monastery.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Leticia to Monasterio Iew. Taxis are readily available throughout the city. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your trip; it should cost around 20,000 to 30,000 COP depending on your starting location in Leticia. Provide the driver with the address: Comunidad El, Calderon. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
