Getting There

  • Metro

    From Laureles, walk to the nearest Metro station, Estadio (approximately 15-20 minutes on foot). Once at Estadio station, purchase a ticket to Parque Berrío station, which costs around 2,500 COP. Board the Line A metro train towards 'Niquía' and ride for 4 stops until you reach Parque Berrío. Exit the station and walk towards the northeast exit, which leads you onto Calle San Juan.

    After exiting Parque Berrío station, walk east on Calle San Juan for about 5 minutes until you reach Avenida Carabobo. Then, turn right and walk south on Avenida Carabobo for about 3 minutes. Plaza Botero will be on your left, right after passing the Museo de Antioquia.

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from Laureles. Find the nearest bus stop on Avenida Nutibara or Avenida San Juan. Look for buses that have 'Centro' or 'La Candelaria' written on them. The fare is approximately 2,200 COP. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Plaza Botero. The bus ride takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
