From Pereira's main bus terminal (Terminal de Transportes de Pereira), take a bus heading towards Cerritos. These buses frequently depart and will take you along the Via Cerritos road. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Malabar Kaukita stop, which is approximately 7 km from the terminal. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Malabar Kaukita stop, walk about 300 meters towards the entrance of Kaukitá Reserve, which is well-marked.

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Pereira. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Kaukitá Reserve' at 'porteria Malabar Kaukita, km 7 Via Cerritos'. The taxi ride should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand if the taxi does not use a meter.

Bicycle Rental
If you enjoy biking, consider renting a bicycle in Pereira. Start from Parque Arboleda, which is a central location. Head west towards the Via Cerritos, following the road signs. It is approximately a 7 km ride to Kaukitá Reserve. The route is mostly flat but be prepared for some traffic on the main roads. Upon reaching the Malabar Kaukita area, look for the entrance to the reserve.
