Let’s start by being clear that the climatic, geographical and social conditions of La Guajira do not lend themselves to having the luxuries of 5-star hotels, as some tourists expect. But I have to say, this trip exceeded by muuuuchoo all my expectations. To people who complain about having to travel for long times by cart, keep in mind that there is no other way to get to Alta Guajira, I think you travel in the best conditions considering that you play by 4x4 vehicle and that you pass through the desert. Regarding accommodation and food, I thank all the parties involved in the investment made to tourism in recent years, I had the experience of traveling 20 years ago to the same place and currently there is no point of comparison in these aspects, despite the issues of location and various conditions, I certainly have no complaint about my experience both with these aspects or with the people located in each of the spaces where we were treated. In addition to the above, geographically it is a place that allows to have spectacular views and landscapes, worthy of a thousand photographs and videos. Last but not least, I think it is the best cover letter that can have anywhere that aims at tourism and is the quality of care, kindness and willingness to help that each of the people who participate in your experience have and I want to highlight greatly the person with whom we share the most during the weekend and is the person directly in charge of our transport, Ainer. Because in the end, Ainer, as I said, is the person with whom we share the most in our trip and in the end, it is not only the driver, or not for our travel group, for us ends up being the person with whom we can have conversation about the region, it is the Guide, the recommender, the photographer, the entertainer, the person who is watching that in each place we arrive we feel comfortable and well taken care of and above all who was in charge of confirming that my experience in this spectacular destination was not 5 stars but 10!!!
