From Parque de Los Novios in Santa Marta's historic center, walk south on Calle 19 toward the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the beach, then turn left (east) onto the Malecón (beach promenade). Walk along the promenade for about 20 minutes until you see the entrance to Marina Santa Marta on your right, at Cl. 23. There is no cost for walking.

From anywhere in Santa Marta, take a bus heading towards El Rodadero or Taganga. These buses are usually blue and can be boarded at any main avenue. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop near Calle 23. From there, walk east on Calle 23 for about 5 minutes until you reach Marina Santa Marta. Bus fare is approximately 2,300 COP.
