Walking
If you are in the center of Santa Marta, start at Parque de los Novios. Head east on Calle 11 towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade (Malecón). Once at the Malecón, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Calle 22. Playa del Centro is located at Comuna 2, which is just a short walk past the main waterfront area. Look for signs or ask locals for directions if needed.

From the center of Santa Marta, locate a bus stop on Calle 11 or Calle 12. Take a bus heading towards the neighborhood of Comuna 2. Make sure to ask the driver if they go to Playa del Centro or a nearby stop when you board. Once you reach the area, get off and follow the signs to the beach. It's a short walk from the bus stop to the beach entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the center of Santa Marta. Cycle towards the beach on Calle 11, continue to the Malecón, and then turn left.
