    If you're driving, start your journey from the entrance of Tayrona National Natural Park. Head south on the main road through the park. Follow the signs for Playa Cristal and after approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the junction where you can turn off towards Playaca. Continue straight for another 5-10 minutes until you reach the beach area. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 10,000 COP.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From the main entrance of Tayrona National Natural Park, look for the local buses labeled 'Palangana' or 'Taganga'. These buses run frequently and will take you towards Santa Marta. You will need to inform the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Playaca. The bus ride will last approximately 30 minutes and costs around 5,000 COP. After disembarking, you may need to walk approximately 15 minutes to reach Playaca.
