Getting There

• Car

  From Tayrona National Park, exit the park and head towards Santa Marta. Follow the signs towards Santa Marta and take the route 90 (Via a Santa Marta). After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the city of Santa Marta. Once in Santa Marta, follow the signs for Minca, which is located approximately 14 km northeast of the city. Drive along the road until you reach the intersection at Minca, and turn left onto Carrera 66. Continue on Carrera 66 until you arrive at URBAN Minca, which will be on your right.

• Public Transportation

  From Tayrona National Park, you will need to return to Santa Marta first. Take a taxi or a local bus from the park to the city center of Santa Marta. Once in Santa Marta, head to the main bus terminal or a nearby bus stop that serves the route to Minca. Look for a bus or a shared van (colectivo) heading to Minca. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. When you arrive in Minca, disembark at the town center, and then walk along Carrera 66 until you reach URBAN Minca, which will be a short distance ahead.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct method, consider hiring a taxi from Tayrona National Park to URBAN Minca. This option can be more expensive but is convenient, especially if you are traveling with luggage or in a group. The taxi will take you directly to your destination. Ensure to negotiate the fare with the driver before starting the journey or use a ride-hailing app if available.
