Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Alamosa Plaza, located in the center of town. Head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 6th Street. Continue straight as Main Street turns into 6th Street. After approximately 0.2 miles, turn left onto the path that leads to Alamosa's Riverwalk. Follow the Riverwalk path, which runs alongside the Rio Grande River, for about 1 mile until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. After crossing, continue following the path for another 0.5 miles, keeping an eye out for a sculpture on your left. This sculpture is Old Mose, located at coordinates 37.4731361, -105.8805194.   Begin at the Alamosa Public Library, located at 300 Hunt Ave. Head south on Hunt Ave for about 0.3 miles until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street heading west. After 0.2 miles, turn left onto 6th Street. Continue straight for another 0.5 miles, then turn left onto the Riverwalk path. Bike along the Riverwalk, which runs parallel to the Rio Grande River, for approximately 1 mile. When you reach the bridge, cross it and continue on the path for an additional 0.5 miles. Look for Old Mose, a sculpture located at coordinates 37.4731361, -105.8805194 on your left.

• Public Transport

  From the Alamosa Bus Station, located at 610 Main St, board the local bus heading towards the Nature Park. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Nature Park stop. From there, walk south on the path for about 0.4 miles until you reach the Riverwalk. Follow the Riverwalk path for another 1 mile. Once you reach the bridge, cross it and continue along the path for about 0.5 miles. Old Mose will be on your left at coordinates 37.4731361, -105.8805194.
