Walking
From the Estes Park Visitor Center, walk west towards Elkhorn Avenue. The Riverwalk can be accessed via a tunnel under the highway, which features the 'Community Unity' mural. Follow the paved path along the Big Thompson and Fall Rivers, enjoying the shops and restaurants along the way.
Public Transport
Take the free Town of Estes Park shuttle to the Estes Park Visitor Center. From there, access the Riverwalk via the tunnel under the highway. Shuttles operate seasonally, typically from late May through mid-October. Check the Estes Park website for the current schedule.
Parking
Several free and paid parking options are available near the Riverwalk. The Estes Park Riverwalk Parking Garage (691 N. St. Vrain Ave) offers free parking and is within walking distance. During peak season (May 24 to Oct 20), paid parking lots charge $2 per hour between 10 am and 5 pm. Payment can be made via kiosk or the ParkMobile app.
