The Welcome Center features interactive exhibits about the town's history and environmental accomplishments. During the building's construction, a well-preserved log cabin from the 19th century was discovered, now renovated and open to the public. This cabin now hosts the Ute Knowledge: Colorado's Original Science Technology, Engineering, and Math exhibit, showcasing how the Ute Indians used STEM for survival in the Rocky Mountains. The museum also features short videos on topics like the Breckenridge Ski Resort's beginnings, mining, and 1980s snowboarding. The Welcome Center's Information Specialists can assist visitors with planning their stay, providing recommendations and resources. The center has also gone paperless, using QR codes to provide information and support sustainability.
