Getting There

    From Main Street Breckenridge, walk west towards the Blue River. Follow the Riverwalk pathway south, passing the Riverwalk Center. The Mountain Top Explorium is located on the west side of the pathway, next to Castaways Cove. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. No costs are associated with walking.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Breckenridge Free Ride bus or the Summit Stage to Breckenridge Station. From the station, walk left on Watson Avenue, then right onto the Blue River Recreation Path. Follow the path and cross the footbridge over the Blue River just after Ski Hill Road. The Mountain Top Explorium will be on your right. This service is free.

  • Driving

    Drive towards Breckenridge Ski Resort via CO-9. Once in Breckenridge, follow signs to the town center and turn onto South Park Avenue. Continue until you reach 100 South Park Avenue Unit C100. Parking is available at the Icehouse Lot across the river. Walk across the blue bridge on the south end of the lot and turn right onto the Riverwalk Path to reach the museum. Parking fees at the Icehouse Lot vary, typically costing around $3-5 per hour.
