Experience award-winning wines at the world's highest altitude winery in Breckenridge, Colorado. Taste the difference altitude makes!

4.5

Continental Divide Winery's Breckenridge tasting room, situated in Main Street Station, offers a distinctive experience for wine lovers. Founded in 2016 by Jeffrey and Ana Maltzman, alongside Kent Hutchison and Angela Bryan, the winery prides itself on being the highest-altitude winery in the world, with its production facility located in Fairplay at over 10,000 feet. This unique altitude minimizes oxygen exposure during crafting and aging, allowing the true flavors of the grapes to shine through. The winery showcases a diverse selection of wines, blending the best of California and Colorado grapes. Guests can explore the differences in flavor profiles resulting from varying altitudes, soils, and weather conditions. The Breckenridge tasting room provides a casual and friendly atmosphere with an industrial edge, inviting guests to relax and unwind after a day on the slopes or exploring the town. Continental Divide Winery offers more than just wine tasting; visitors can participate in a unique wine blending experience. This interactive class allows guests to taste different red wine varietals, create their own custom blend, and then bottle, cork, and label their personalized vintage. The winery also hosts private events, including wedding receptions, in its VIP Barrel Room and outdoor patio. With its dog-friendly policy, live music events, and commitment to quality, Continental Divide Winery has become a beloved destination for both locals and visitors.
